Sandstamp imprints depend on the wetness of the Sand.  Sands are different, Destin sand is quartz and logo's appear clean and etched.  The most common area to imprint is about 2 feet from the wet line.  If you require an imprint in a dry sand area, make sure the sand is flat with no pebbles, take a 2 gallon sprayer and spray the area and test your imprint.  Put the stamp on the sand and lightly push into the area, pull the handles "slowly up".  Pulling up quickly will suction the sand in the abdeo etc letters or any small designs. It's easy to get the hang to imprinting and you can walk and logo the beach area and people will stop and take a picture with the imprint. Golf Bunkers require the sand to also be damp, I've imprinted right after the irrigation stopped and also used the 2 gal sprayer at Golf Tournaments.
